THE NA PALI RACE is a 17-mile long distance paddleboard/stand-up paddleboard (SUP)/OC1 race along Kauai's breathtaking northern coast: the Na Pali. This coastline includes the highly protected Kalalau Valley, a sacred place on Hawaii's oldest inhabited island. The magnitude of Na Pali's towering 4000-foot tall convoluted cliffs, and the magnificent beauty of this restricted coastline can only truly be appreciated from the ocean.
